Today’s state of the garden: Two rows of beds down, many more to go. Our first WWOOFer also helped us quickly create that brush fence that’s barely visible around the perimeter. Its main purpose is to stop the honeysuckle, wild roses, blackberries and other extremely fast growing vines along the hill from overtaking the garden as they did last year. The fence will support them for a natural boundary and give us a visual reminder of when to trim back the growth.
